BIOBASED HIGH DENSITY
Biobased high-density polyethylene has the same properties as conventional HDPE. As an alternative to conventional materials, bio-based materials offer an optimal level of quality, in full compliance with current food safety standards.
The biobased HDPE we use is structurally similar to conventional polyethylene but it comes from natural and renewable resources instead of limited resources, such as naphtha (from petroleum). It can be recycled in the same channels as standard polyethylene.
Our biobased HDPE products contain at least 94% bio-based material. They are naturally white in appearance and are dye-free. The range of bio-based materials currently features around twenty items and is constantly growing.
Like all plastics we use in our containers, bio-based high-density polyethylene is a food-grade, odourless, and 100% recyclable thermoplastic polymer. .
