LE CENTRE DE FORMATION
DES APPRENTIS DE LA GASTRONOMIE
The Centre de Formation des Apprentis de la Gastronomie is a training centre that offers apprenticeship training in five catering professions: cooking, marketing and services, bakery, pastry, and the sommelier profession. The courses, vocational aptitude certificate, vocational baccalaureate, and additional options, are open to all young people, from the age of 15, and to people wanting to change careers.
The CFA de la Gastronomie, chaired by starred chef Christian Têtedoie, provides innovative, differentiating, and exciting courses. It has the distinction of being the only CFA in France to combine free learning and gastronomic positioning.
LThe Centre de Formation des Apprentis de la Gastronomie is located outside Lyon at Château de Lacroix-Laval, Marcy l'Etoile, and is open to the general public with five training restaurants: a fine dining restaurant, a bistro, a tea room, a café, and function rooms.
The CFA de la Gastronomie has three objectives:
- - respond to the desire for professional guidance and integration of people passionate about cuisine by offering them free training;
- - ensure the transmission of French cuisine, an intangible heritage of humanity;
- - promote a sustainable model through the reasoned use of nature and our resources.
Our partnership with the CFA de la Gastronomie allows us to support new generations of talent in a field that is dear to us and to exchange with neighbours as the CFA is located just a few minutes from our premises.
